「時光扭蛋機」利用創新的科技與趣味互動，向兒童觀眾介紹「時間」這個抽象概念 中，有關年代遠與近的區隔，並啟發他們對博物館內豐富典藏品的興趣。
裝置的核心概念是將歷史文物轉化為充滿驚喜的「時光扭蛋」 ，透過互動裝置模擬考 古挖掘帶來的時間經驗，如同扭蛋轉出的結果是某種隨機，考古挖掘也因多重的地質與氣候因素，使得人們未必每一次挖掘都能挖到固定的年代地層。
當觀眾轉動巨大化的實體旋鈕，螢幕上的「時光扭蛋機」便會啟動，擬人化的兔子角色 「時光兔」會與扭蛋一同從機內掉落，創造出穿越時空般的生動場景。
“Artifact Gacha Adventure” combines innovative technology with playful interaction to introduce young visitors to the abstract concept of time — specifically, the distinction between the distant and recent past — while sparking their curiosity about the museum’s rich collections.
At the core of the installation is the transformation of historical artifacts into surprise-filled “time capsule gachas.” The interactive device simulates the temporal experience of archaeological excavation: just as the result of turning a gacha machine is never guaranteed, the layers of history uncovered in a dig are equally unpredictable, shaped by geological and climatic conditions that determine which era’s artifacts may be found.
When audiences turn the oversized physical knob, the on-screen gacha machine springs to life. The anthropomorphic rabbit character “Time Bunny” tumbles out alongside the capsule, creating a vivid scene of journeying through time.
